OUR TREATMENTS
Swedish Massage
Commonly referred to as a Relaxation massage. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic strokes, on the topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with the movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish Massage can be very relaxing and energizing.
Neuromuscular Massage
Also known as Deep Tissue, it is a specialized form of manual massage in which pressure and friction are used to release areas in the muscles. These areas are called tender or trigger points, and they tend to be the cause of ongoing muscular pain symptoms.
Myofascial Therapy
Also known as Myofascial release, it is a type of physical therapy often used to treat myofascial pain in the tissues. These tissues surround and support the muscles throughout your body. With the use of slow drags, traction, and stretches, the tissue releases and mobility of the muscle can be restored.
Cryotherapy and Thermotherapy
Cryo meaning cold and Thermo meaning heat. This therapy uses ice to cool hot spots that are inflamed and heating pads and hot towels to relax sore muscles.
Aromatherapy
Is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts, also known as essential oils, to promote health and well-being. This can be done by diffusing the oils in the air or adding it to lotion or carrier oils and applying it to the skin which can be beneficial to the body and mind.
CBD Massage
The anti-inflammatory and pain relieving agents of CBD reduces inflammation within muscles and joints, allowing the massage to be more effective. Some seek CBD massages as a way to relax and escape stress. For others, CBD also has the reputation for accelerating the recovery and healing process of injured connective tissue.
TMJ Massage
Temporomandibular joint disorders or TMD is more commonly referred to as simply TMJ after the joint itself. This is the joint that connects your mandible, or lower jaw, to your skull just under your ears. Problems with this joint or the muscles in the face can lead to pain in this area. An injury that affects the lower jaw, such as whiplash, can be one cause as well as grinding of the teeth, the soft cushion in the joint moving, arthritis, or stress.
