Hydrating Before And After A Massage

If you’ve ever had a massage before, more than likely your therapist has encouraged you to drink water after your appointment. It’s just as important to drink water prior to your appointment.

The Reason Being:

During a massage, the therapist pushes toxins and free radicals into the muscles, blood, and lymphatic system. This may cause our bodies to feel tired, sore, sluggish, or may cause flu-like symptoms. Drinking water before and after a massage helps the body to hydrate and flush these toxins into the kidneys, where they can be purged from the body.

Be proactive. Stop the pain before it starts.
